When it comes to essential oil purity, less is more. Every HerboEarth bottle contains one thing only: 100% pure essential oils, with no fillers, carrier oils, alcohol or synthetic fragrances. Our collection includes eight signature oils, each in a 15ml bottle: Lavender, Peppermint, Tea Tree, Eucalyptus, Rosemary, Lemongrass, Citronella and Wintergreen.
Each oil is bottled in dark amber glass with a tight-sealing cap. Amber glass helps block light, and the snug seal limits air exposure, the two biggest threats to an oil’s aroma and quality.
Do essential oils expire? Essential oils don’t spoil the way food does, but they do change over time. Exposure to air, heat and light slowly oxidizes them, which can dull their scent and make them more likely to irritate skin. Most essential oils stay at their best for about one to three years after opening, depending on the oil. To get the most from every bottle, keep the cap closed tightly, store it in a cool, dark place, and replace any oil that smells sharp, flat or “off.”

An essential oil diffuser turns a few drops into a soft, fragrant mist that fills your space, whether you’re winding down after a long day or starting a fresh morning. Add 3 to 5 drops of your favorite diffuser essential oil to the water in your diffuser and let it run for 30 to 60 minutes at a time.
